There will be 8 residents between the ages of 5 and 13 who will live at the residence and participate in home-schooling. There are several teachers and aides giving the class a 2 to 1 student-teacher ratio. The children come from abusive homes and need a single place to stay while they go through the adjustments before getting placed in a foster home. This helps the foster home transition so the children are more readily acceptable and placed in a home that best meets their needs. The reaction we got from the staff was over-whelming. They were blown away that all these different paint companies were planning to come together flying under the PDCA banner and do this. It’s so encouraging to see community come together. WAY TO GO PDCA!
